The image becomes part of the cookie — there is no paper or traditional ink involved.

Our printer uses edible food coloring formulated for use on edible media. The finished cookie is still a sugar cookie with icing and edible printed food coloring.

🎨 ABOUT COLORS & COLOR MATCHING

Please keep in mind that edible printing is different from traditional printing.

Our printer uses edible food coloring, not conventional printer ink.

Because we’re printing on food with food coloring, exact color matching cannot be guaranteed.

Colors can appear differently depending on:

The original image
Your computer or phone screen
The brightness of the image
The white icing underneath the print
The amount of edible food coloring used
The cookie’s surface
The type of image file provided

For this reason, colors may be similar but not an exact match to a photograph, invitation, logo, party decoration, team color, or digital color code.

Important:

If you have a very specific color requirement, please understand that edible printing cannot guarantee an exact Pantone, RGB, CMYK, HEX, or screen-color match.

We will make every effort to reproduce your colors as accurately as possible while working within the limitations of edible printing.

Printed Cookie Color Disclaimer

Please note that edible food printing can produce slight variations in color. Red tones in particular can be difficult to reproduce accurately and may print slightly orange, darker, lighter, or otherwise different than expected.

For the closest possible color match, an exact HEX color code may be required. Even when a HEX code is provided, an exact color match cannot be guaranteed, as edible ink, the printer, and the printing surface can affect the final appearance.

Colors shown on phones, computers, and other screens may also look different from the finished printed cookie.

We will always do our best to achieve the closest possible match to your requested colors.

🖼️ IMAGE QUALITY MATTERS

The quality of the finished cookie depends heavily on the quality of the image provided.

For the best results, please provide:

High-resolution images
Clear photographs
Sharp graphics
Good lighting
Images that are not blurry or pixelated
Files with good contrast
Images with appropriate brightness

Avoid extremely dark or deeply saturated images.

Images containing large areas of very dark, heavily saturated colors may require a significant amount of edible food coloring.

This can sometimes result in:

Uneven color
Darker-than-expected areas
Slight color bleeding
A softer-looking image
Less detail in very dark portions

For the best print quality, images with balanced colors, moderate saturation, and good contrast generally produce the best results.

💧 MOISTURE, SWEATING & COLOR BLEEDING

Because edible images and food coloring interact with moisture, environmental conditions can affect the finished print.

may cause the printed image or icing to change.

Possible effects include:

Color bleeding
Smudging
Sweating/condensation

Please do not refrigerate printed sugar cookies.

Refrigeration can create condensation when the cookies are removed from the refrigerator.

That moisture can affect the icing and edible print and may cause:

Smudging

Softening

By submitting an image, you are responsible for having the appropriate rights or permission to have the image reproduced on edible products.

We reserve the right to decline images that we cannot reproduce appropriately.

Variations may occur because of differences in screens, printers, edible ink, edible paper, lighting, and the surface of the product. Printed products may occasionally have minor imperfections, including slight color variation, small spots, minor smudging, image distortion, or slight placement differences. Every effort will be made to produce a high-quality finished product. CUSTOMER-PROVIDED IMAGES, ARTWORK & INFORMATION Customers are responsible for providing accurate names, ages, dates, wording, colors, images, logos, and other information needed to complete the order. Customers are responsible for protecting their order from excessive heat, humidity, moisture, sunlight, and other environmental conditions after pickup or delivery. PICKUP DATE & TIME Your order will be prepared and ready for pickup at the date and time selected and confirmed by the bakery. PROMPT PICKUP IS REQUIRED. Please arrive at your scheduled pickup time. The bakery cannot wait for extended periods of time for late pickups. If you anticipate being late, please contact the bakery as soon as possible. LATE PICKUP POLICY IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 10 MINUTES LATE, YOUR ORDER MAY BE PLACED IN THE DESIGNATED PICKUP AREA/ON THE PORCH FOR YOU TO RETRIEVE. Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are transported and stored appropriately. INSPECTION UPON RECEIPT Customers should inspect their order as soon as possible after receiving it.
