Your cookie arrives ready to paint. Simply add a little water to your edible paint palette, grab your brush, and have fun!

🎨 HOW TO PAINT YOUR COOKIE

It’s easy!

1. Prepare your paint.
Add a small amount of water to the paint colors on your palette.

2. Load your brush.
Dip your included paintbrush into the water and then gently pick up some of the edible paint.

3. Start painting!
Paint directly onto your iced cookie and watch your design come to life.

4. Have fun!
There is no right or wrong way to paint your cookie. Use different colors, experiment, and let your creativity take over!

5. Let your cookie dry.
Allow your painted cookie to dry before packaging, stacking, or eating.

💧 HOW MUCH WATER SHOULD I USE?

A little goes a long way!

Start with just a small amount of water on your brush.

If your brush is too wet, the paint can become thin and may spread more than you want.

For more vibrant color and better control, use less water.

You can always add more water if needed — but it’s much harder to take water away!

Too much water can soften the icing and create a rough surface.

⚠️ ABOUT THE PRINTED DESIGN

Your cookie begins with a printed edible design on the iced cookie.

The printed lines are there to help guide you while painting.

IMPORTANT:

The printed lines may smear, soften, or bleed slightly when they come into contact with water and the paintbrush.

THIS IS NORMAL. ❤️

Remember — you’re painting on an edible iced cookie, not a piece of paper.

The printed image is made with edible food coloring, and moisture from the brush can cause the printed lines to move slightly.

Want less smearing?

Try using:

How Many Dozen Cookies? *Cookies will be white iced, with printed outlined image. Each cookie will come packaged with a paintbrush, paint palette and directions.
